With hundreds of universities across the UK, Canada and Australia, choosing one can feel overwhelming. Use this checklist.
- Course first: modules, placements and accreditation matter more than the university name.
- Budget: tuition plus living costs — cities like London, Toronto and Sydney cost more.
- Intake: not every course runs in January or May.
- Entry requirements: marks, gaps and English scores.
- Career outcomes: internships, industry links and post-study work options.
- Visa success: some universities and courses are easier to justify for your profile.
